I wonder if there's any way to install Linux on a Zen Xtra.


You think it's possible to install Linux as the player's OS and/or install Linux on a bootable partition on the player's hard drive (Boot floppy with USB support?).

those devices are not generic mass storage devices. as such i would assume the chance of that happening is approaching zero. if it were mass usb, like most USB sticks and a few other players i can't recall offhand, then yes i'd think it would be pretty straight forward.

Yeah, I know that it doesn't act as a generic storage device, which is why I wonder if it's at all possible.
