I think this falls under MIME types but default types

I got DropBox, and Copy installed, when I click on thier menu and select open thier folder it will cause audacious to open instead of my file Manager, If i un-install (remove) audacious. then try it then it will open up my file Manager, BUT when I re-install audacious it goes back to using audacious instead of my File Manager again.

my brain cannot remember what file(s) I got to change to stop that from happning or where they are at, I have looked in the hidden folders for both programs, Copy, Dropbox, and cannot find anything in there that might work, if it is I didn't find it.

any ideas on where to look and what to change,

if you look to the Left <--- you'll see I am using VOID Linux, but this should be a general topic of Linux funtionality --

thanks
