http://pdownload.mii.instacontent.ne...2.5.1.i586.rpm -- for XFree86 4.1.0

I forget which version of XFree Debian has, but try X -version to check.

You'll want to do one of two things:

apt-get install rpm
rpm -ivh file.rpm

OR

apt-get install alien
alien file.rpm
dpkg -i file.deb

Both should work, but alien will convert the RPM to a Debian package. Word of advice: it may take a minute, be patient.

If you want to be extra cautious, I'd install rpm.
