I had a error during kernel complie.. what should I do..??

in kernel 2-6.2.0-test4, i had unexpectable error meassage..
There's no problem in kernel 2.4.xxxxversion. but every 2.6.xx
make a same problem. what's wrong with my machine?? or source is incorrect??
tell me some advice...

$make menuconfig

below error mesaage..

Why not just stick witht the nonbeta kernel versions do you need anything off of 2.6.xx if not i don't see a reason to go that high. I have 2.4.22 and it works for everything I do.

Are you sure you have libc6-dev installed. I had the same problem compiling 2.4.22 and found that the above was not installed.
