Question I deleted some files, how do i retrieve it?


Version :RH9

Goodday. this is really a novice question.

I have accidentally deleted some files , how do i retrieve it?

And The Trash Bin on my desktop doesnt work. When i double click it. It doesnt response at all.

Please Help. Thanks.

It also depends on what filesystem you are using.

I doont understanfd what you are trying to tell me?

Can anyone just show me the path of where the ftrash folder is?

Example: //root/trash

Mine is a Redhat 9.

Ralvez is correct. That was my purpose. Just trying to be lazy..

A quick survival guide:
Q:When you see an unknown word, what do you do?
A: Hit that word to google to see if the great internet wizard knows something more.

Q: When you see 3 lines of unknown text, what do you do?
A: Hit them to google one line at a time.
