httpd server config .. on RH 8


if i want to config .. it show this msg :

(98) address already i use : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443 no listening sockets available, shutting down ..

Does anyone know what could be causing this ?

type

nmap localhost and see what is running on port 443.

How are you trying to configure it.... what tool are you using?

As mychl eluded to, either something else is using that port or you have an error in your httpd.conf file.

i use this command :

httpd -f

nmap show this ..

443/tcp open https

---
did it mean create sockets ??

yeah .. i can go to localhost .. but i can't install vb forum .. if i press next .. it's not continue ... to step 2 ...
