HP deskjet printing on Gentoo

I have an HP Deskjet 3650 printer. I'm using the driver v1.5 from http://hpinkjet.sf.net.
hpijs -h outputs:
Hewlett-Packard Co. Inkjet Server 1.5
Copyright (c) 2001-2003, Hewlett-Packard Co.
gs -v outputs:
ESP Ghostscript 7.07.1 (2003-07-12)
Copyright 2003 arofcode LLC and Easy Software Products, all rights reserved.
/etc/printcap says:
#This file was automatically generated by cupsd(8) from the
#/etc/cups/printers.conf file. All changes to this file
#will be lost
HP|HP deskjet 3650:rm=kimizz0:rp=HP:

cups is up and running, and I can print a test page fine from localhost:631, but I can' seem to print from anywhere else (bash, OOo, etc). Any ideas?
