How to View and Open Linux hard disk Files in Window?
Dear Friend,
How to View and Open Linux hard disk Files in Window?
I've try Ext2 software to view Linux hard disk, it detect my Linux partition but i can't open it? it show "reformat hard disk"?
You want to view Linux partition in Window? Window as in Microsoft Windows? As for as I know it is not possible unless you are using softwares like 'cygwin'.
Or, is it that you have a seperate partition made for your data/multimedia in linux installation and you want to access it automatically each time you login to linux?

Cygwin is used to give you a Linux command-line environment on Windows. It would certainly allow to to access files with command-line tools, but does it allow you to open something with --eg--MSOffice?

I'm sorry I meant to 'View' linux partitions. Didnot give thought to OP's desire to 'Open' files too, which mostly will be docs, excels, pdfs... Pardon my dumbness.

Btw, thanks for the link to ext2fsd...
i don't know what file type on F:\ partition
how to open F:\ drive .
please click below link to check what partition on my linux harddisk?
Please give us more information on that system. For example, how did those Linux partitions get there?----do you have Linux installed and running on that computer?
If Linux is not installed (or not working correctly), you can boot up from a Linux "Live CD" and use that to check what the filesystem is on all the drives.
