Question How to use bz2?


Hey folks,
I used to use "tar -zxvf <filename>" to untar .tar.gz files. But I see more and more .tar.bz2 files... How do i untar those files?

you should ALWAYS look at manpages beofre asking basic usage questions like this...

from "man tar":
