how to uninstall tar.gz file
hi linux fan
I want to know how to uninstall tar package in linux.
I installed jabberd-2.1.7.tar.bz2 in my linux now i want to remove it any one can help me plz.

u can uninstall tar-ball install if "uninstall" target is listed in Makefile.
if it is there in Makefile use "make uninstall"
otherwise u have to manually delete all files and configurations.
