how to set process to use 2 procesors at this same time

Hi,

Is somebody know how to set (something) in system to process use 2 procesors at this same time?

Explain:
I run php process that execute long time.
When i type top to see what's going on I see
php 66%
mysql 33%

and that's all.

Is this processes use 2 procesors?
How to check which procesor is used?

A quick way to see the load on each processor is using top

from the command line type "top"
Once in top press the number "1"
Now each processor's load will be displayed independantly.

I hope this helps

The general answer is you can't.
A program MUST BE DESIGNED to have this feature. And more than that, such program must have more than one task its could perform in parallel. Does not make sense a program with a linear logic to split its code on several CPUs.
