How to run my packages!??

Hi,
I installed many packages from my RedHat8.0 CDs (such as Touch Typist,
Vocabulary builder, editors, ......)
None of them appears in the graphical menus.
How do I know what applications are installed on my pc and how to run them?

Thanks!!

There are 2 terminal commands that may help. The first is to type

computername]#which <packagename>

this should return a path and file name of the executable
if that doesn't work you could do a

computername]#find / -iname <packagename>

for more information on the find and which commands type

computername]#man which
computername]#man find

Good luck

Dave
