First of all, what is Linux 10? What specific distribution are you using? Secondly, at is for one time scheduled jobs only, your probably looking to use cron instead. And lastly, what log file is this? Do you really want to have an email each and every time a busy log file is updated which can be thousands upon thousands a day, depending on what log file you want emailed? Why don't you look into using something like logwatch?

Hi,
Thanks for reply . I am using Fedora Linux version 10.0. Now I want to receive mail log on my private mail id as well as the output of the 'at' ( a command to schedule a job) to be mailed to me. I want to know what files need to be modified for the same as I have modified only /etc.aliases but could not get the output in my mail box. seeking for your kind help.

Regards,
Yogesh

Okay.. Fedora is on version Core 4.. they never had a 10.0 release.. not yet at least...
Secondly, I'd highly recommend you using logwatch like I mentioned.. 'at' is not a scheduling deamon, it runs once and then is done unless you want to run 'at' a thousand times a day to do something cron would do for you..

But if you want a one time email mailed to you after an 'at' job is executed, just append whoever you want to email it to at the end of the 'at' you schedule..

man at for more details..
