Unhappy how to recover mouse?

Working on my P166 Linux box, running SuSE 7.1, I was preparing to adjust color depth in Yast2, and accidentally clicked on 'select mouse'. I then backed out of that screen, and proceeded to adjust the color. When I booted the machine the next time, I had no mouse control at all. I can tab to some of the icons on the screen, but can't exercise enough cursor control to activate Yast2 again.
Do I need to perform a complete reinstall just to get my mouse back?

Ron

I don't know what you did to your mouse but the config is usually in /etc/XF86Config or if you're using kde press alt-f1 to get the menu.

Thumbs up Mouse lives again!

I borrowed a mouse from another computer, and for some reason, the system would work with that mouse allowing me to move around on the desktop and configure settings, etc.

Thanks for your reply

Ron
