How to randomize Splash Image using Gnome???

Ok I want to randomize splash screen for my Gnome and I found this link http://gnome-hacks.jodrell.net/hacks.html?id=55

In the instruction, it says that I need to: "copy it to your gnome-autostart folder"
I dont' know any of gnome-autostart folder, where it's located, and how to run the script. Could someone show step by step how to or a link in this forum?

Also, how do I hide floppy mount or some how disable the icon from the desktop. I know there's an option is GConf Editor where you can hide the My computer and Home icon but not the floppy.

I use modubar in adesklets program and I want make a icon with a link to log-out. I have the icon there already but what's is the log-out comand for that icon?

This is a hidden folder, you'll have to change view to show all hidden folders.

or you can try this:

scroll to the bottom for the instructions on running scripts automatically.
