lynuz Newbie Registered: Oct 2005 Posts: 3 Rep:	how to monitor an ipc FIFO from command line.. am using FIFO ipc(mkfifo/open/read/write) in my c++ program for client-server communication. I need to monitor this FIFO from commandline to see if any FIFO writes are blocked due to insufficient space. Also, what is the default FIFO size on kernel 2.4 with redhat distro? I know it's 4k PIPE_BUF size. But am looking for the total size of a FIFO and how to tune it? thanks -D
