How to make Linux poweroff monitor after some idle?

I'm using XFCE. I tried to set it in screen saver, but the only thing I get is screen saver and no monitor poweroff.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

You might try adding...

Code:
Option "blank time" "10"
Option "standby time" "20"
Option "suspend time" "30"
Option "off time" "60"
to the ServerFlags section of your xorg.conf file.

X turns off monitor after 20 minutes by default
look at "man xorg.conf" - SERVERFLAGS SECTION

I added
Quote:
Option "OffTime" "1"
Option "SuspendTime" "1"
Option "StandbyTime" "1"
into ServerflagsSection, but the monitor doesn't turn off.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
