How to install Xubuntu on CF card

Anyone can help me how to install Xubuntu on CF card? Thanks.

I assume you are talking about through an IDE-CF adapter? It would be no different from installing to a standard HDD, as far as the system is concerned, that is what it is.

Once installed, you might want to look into optimizations for flash-based root filesystems however. Like turning off atime and moving log files into tmpfs. But the installation itself would be no different.

Sure...make sure the CF card is installed, boot from the installation media, and install to it, just as you would any other drive. Since you don't say anything about your hardware, it's hard to say more.

There are lots of hits on Google for "xubuntu cf card install"....
