How-to guide for designing XFCE/GTK themes

I've recently started using XFCE for my desktop instead of Fluxbox. However, I had a couple of customised themes set up on my Fluxbox desktop which I'd like to implement in XFCE.

Can anyone point me towards a clear, concise guide to how I can achieve this?

Remember that Fluxbox and XFCE are two totally separate window managers. How you configure one is not exactly how you'll do the other. Most likely you'll find is that there is a config file for this within XFCE (you can probably do man xfce and it will tell you where that file is or do: ls -a in your home dir and you may see something like .xfce subdirectory -- no doubt this would contain the config file for xfce)... and ... most likely you'll need to edit that file to get what you want.
