Question How to give root's rights

I'll like to have my A/C to have the same permission as root. how do I make that happen? I cannot move files...cannot copy files. I dun want to use the SU command. I want to make it permanent.

You can use sudu to give a user some root permissions, however it's not a good idea to give all root permissions to a user as you open yourself up to all sorts of security issues, not to mention that a misstyped command can completely bork your system, root and user accounts are there for very good reasons, if you want to log in to the admin account all the time you might as well just use windows.

I think Aussie probably meant sudo. Read the man page for sudoers, if the top sounds too complicated.. scroll all the way to the bottom where they've a good example of a sudoers file. Always use visudo instead of editing sudoers directly.. put the commands you need to make for regular sys administration in there and make sure that you dont give yourself enough permissions to launch youself a root shell.
