Question how to get memory info using system calls or files in linux

Dear All,

I want to get memory information like swap, mounted file system, RAM and etc. on Linux system by either using system calls or reading file. I need all information about particular partition like name, total memory, available memory, whether accessible or not and so on.

Thanks dears.

Try out the following commands:

for RAM etc..
cat /proc/meminfo
for filesystems:
cat /proc/filesystems
for Processors etc..
cat /proc/cpuinfo
