How to fake the CTRL+V to paste anything under X11?


hello,

There is xclip but this one does not fake the command to paste something to X11?

You can use xdotool:

thanks but I would like to avoid asking to install xdotool, since the machine is normally installed. It has, I saw, xclip and xsel on it however.
