How to enable copy-paste on websites disallowing such an action?

Hi all,

Ubuntu 14.04
Firefox

I followed below article;
Enable Copy-Paste in Web Pages That Disallow It with a Firefox Tweak
http://lifehacker.com/enable-copy-pa...h-a-1601848114

but failed, unable copy-paste on following site;
http://kitchentigress.blogspot.hk/20...eo-recipe.html

Please advise. Thanks

Regards

I know Facebook is notorious for this, I just select the text and drag it over. Works every time.

No it doesn't work here. I'm unable to select the text. Anything wrong on my browser?

To do copy-paste I have to print the webpage as .pdf file

Disable javascript temporarily: about:config - "javascript.enabled=false".

Or with NoScript or YesScript or similar.

NoScript is nice but it can quickly become annoying. More often and often I just "Allow Scripts Globally" before registering on a new website or playing a non-Youtube video. It happened to me that I lost all I wrote in a registration form because Firefox had to reload a whole page

Are you aware that it has a "Temporarily allow all on this page" option? It still requires a refresh, so you still need to hit it before you type your info, but then you won't forget to re-enable global blocking because it resets when you close the browser.

That's pretty useless on an e-commerce site that, like most, sends you off to a third party for payment processing. You can enable all scripts on the pages where you order and choose your payment type, only to be sent, with a warning, "Do not reload the page or use your browser's <Back> button or your order may be entered twice," to a third party page that does not work because it's scripting is disabled. If, at that point, you try to enable scripting, Firefox will warn that it needs to re-send the information in order to reload the page.
