How to download Cygwin NOT on windows?

I would like to download the whole cygwin distribution (all packages), so that I can burn them on CD, for when I work on a Windows environment (work...).
At home, I don't have Windows, so I can't use the setup.exe program.

How do you go about downloading Cygwin without setup.exe, but still be able to install Cygwin from the downloaded files using setup.exe at a future time?

Go to one of the FTP sites?

Simple as that?

I thought setup.exe did add some sort of config file to the dowloaded archives. At least, on cygwin site, they strongly emphasis the fact that install should be done through setup.exe, and not FTP, hence I thought that setup.exe somehow brought added-value to the downloading process.

I'll try what you suggest anyway... I'll see.
Thanks :)

Yves.

It's a bit of a hybrid - you download the packages manually and then install via setup.exe

search yahoo for cygwin CD ISO

here is one

The iso is more than 700MB so that might be a problem... though you could use a DVD, if permissible.

Nice link! I may try this, because downloading release/ takes ages!
