How to download a webmail box for offline browsing

Hi folks,

Some sites offer sizable storage. To keep all mails there will face the risk when the server is down. Would it be possible to download the complete webmail box with 'wget' for off-line browsing/reading (similar to backup the webmail box). If YES what will be the correct syntax to apply. If NO, is there any other solution.

TIA

Remark: I tried wget but failed.

I don't think this is possible. When you read your email message, it decodes it from the location your mail is stored on the server.. there's really not a page or email to download per se thru http protocol.
