How to create a dialog

Hi guys,
I am new into writing GTK applications. Can anyone help me in creating property dialogs using GTK or Gnome.
I heard that dialog and property dialog is different. so plz help me how to add tabs into the property dialog using some Apis.

this is for GTK+2, dunno if itll help. not sure what you mean about property dialogs though, ive never had to program in gtk so i wouldnt know if they are included.
