How to copy user profiles in Debian

In Mepis (control centre), it is possible to generate one profile and copy this profile to many other profiles. Therefore it is possible to tweak a desktop to "perfection" and copy it as the default, when creating new accounts.

Does anyone knows how this can be done in Debian?

The Sabayon utility should run on pretty much any distribution that uses the GNOME desktop. It's in development, so you may still hit bugs.
