How to copy-paste on command line?

Hi,

I don't know how to use my 2 key mouse to do highlight (copy)-paste on command line, just as 3 key mouse does on Unix machine. When installing my (RedHat 7.1) system, I choosed "generic PS/2 mouse and checked "emulate" box. I assume that by combining with "shift" key, the mouse could work like 3 key mouse. But It turns out not to be the case on command line.

Could any one help to solve this problem? Thanks so much in advance.

James

Note that this post is crossed with http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...&threadid=6502

Its normally best to only post a question in a single forum, you'll often get better answers that way as people will expand on each others comments.

cheers
