I use currently Red Hat 7.1. Today I download (from http://www.linuxiso.org, with DSL) the Red Hat 7.3 beta and want to install on my machine. However, the file that I downloaded is in ISO format. For me it’s not clear whether I download the correct file or not. Because I check that on my old Red Hat 7.1 CD it has directory but the new version contains just ISO file. Now I want to copy the file from my hardrive to cd and install Red Hat 7.3. Also, What is i586 and i386?
it's somehow need a lecture to tell you how to burn the cds under linux--because you need to know if you are using a scsi cd-burner or ide,if ide then you must use an emulation "ide-scsi" ...etc
but if you are realy serious and want to know how to burn under linux, then read the howto of the cd-writing. www.linuxdoc.org .
