Question How to configure ksh?

Hi,

I installed Redhat linux 6.0 a couple of days back. I would like to use ksh as my default shell, but when I bring up a terminal session, I get a "$" prompt but changes that I have added for custom prompt in ".profile" is ignored. Can somebody out there help me out with this? Appreciate your help.

Thanks.

i'd presume you'd want to setup a .kshrc

I have setup .kshrc already, but that did not get executed.

If I source it again after I get the "$" prompt, it seems to work fine.

Thanks.
