How to Compile Linux kernel by GCC4.0.0
 
As the title, can anyone tell me the question? Some drivers can't pass compilation. thanks

I don't know, but gcc-2.95.3 is still the official kernel compiler ;).

GCC4 is only very new, you'll need to either hack away at the kernel source yourself or wait for either kernel or gcc patches to start appearing before the two will play nicely together.

Yes it is.............when you build an LFS system............you install this version of Gcc just to compile the kernel because 2.95.3 is the most solid/stable to compile with..........
