Question how to clone an installation

Is there an easy way of making a complete copy of a linux installation, including the various partitions?

Yes. Programs like Norton Ghost can do that. I do it all the time.

Ghost is definitely the way to go.

Mondo can make a bootable set of cd's that can be used to install/reinstall to bare metal.
