Exclamation How to change text mode

I've got RedHat 9.0 (Shrike) installed with only text mode (Runlevel 3).
I have seen something beautiful at Knoppix Linux CD. There the text mode was some kind of strange. On one screen there fits more data (more lines + rows). How could I do somthing like that in RedHat. What do I need for that? Thanx

Yup, your kernel needs to support framebuffering in order to support a higher resolution in the console, which is what you've described in your first post on what your seeing.
