how to change subtitle setting (xine) with perl ?

im tring to make a package that will automate the next tutorial:

on this page you can see two large pictures.
i need to make xine settings as in the pictures :

seperate.subtitle_size -> large
seperate.src_encoding -> iso-8859-8
seperate.font -> hebrew

i tried to search in ./xine but didn't find any relevent config file.

could you please help ?
