How to change root@127 to root@localhost?

Hi,

Thanks for your help.

In My Konsole, it has 'root@127" instead of
'root@localhost' (of which, I'd prefer)

How do I go back to localhost?

(... and NO, My session is NOT logged in as root...
I am in the Konsole as su... just to clarify)

I've googled and searched this forum but
couldn't find any working answers.

Thanks,
FirstBorn

PS. I'm using Mandriva 2008.1

Type (or copy and paste) this:
Code:
export PS1="\u@\H > "

Hi Nexus,

Thanks for such a quick response.

It now displays:
Code:
root@127.0.0.1 >
Instead of:
Code:
[root@127 firstborn]#
After copying and pasting:
export PS1="\u@\H > "

Any Ideas on how to get the 127.0.0.1 changed
to "localhost"? (without the quotes, of course.)

Thanks,
FirstBorn

It's fixed.

Went into the "Configure Network" wizard with the
network connection and just kept hitting "next" until
It ended...
The connection disconnected, then reconnected,
logged into the Konsole and it was Fixed.

Thanks again for Your Help.
I REALLY Appreciate it!

Thanks,
FirstBorn
