How to boot without lilo
 

Hello all

I installed RH9 and I removed lilo ..
How can I boot to Linux ??

Reinstall Lilo or install Grub..

Or you can create a boot disk to boot from.. but you need some kind of boot loader, or you won't be able to boot Linux at all..

how did you remove your lilo? did you just did "fdisk \mbr" from dos? If yes, all you need to do is start with some bootable cd and have your old lilo installed back to mbr by chrooting to your installed system by "chroot /path/to/mounted/partition /bin/bash" and then type "lilo".

If these commands do not make any sense to you at all, ask some friend of come to this forum again.
