How To boot from an Linux live CD ISO from HD!

I've a laptop computer occupied by a network card and an external USB modem(An internet access).
CD-R and Floppy devices are not working.
There are 2 partitions on my HD: Windows Xp is installed in the first, and the other one is a swap partition (It's has been made from an old linux installation).

I've several Live distros ISOs on my HarDisk.
I want to know how to boot from a linux live CD iso that is already on my HD, without a boot CD or floppy.

What I want exactly is a software that can be installed in Windows XP or DOS that while booting gives two main options:

*Boot normally from HD
*Scan HD for bootable ISO =It gives list of isos
Choose and Boot from ISO

I know that it sounds crazy (IT'S ACTUALLY HAHAHA)(^___^).

But it'll be great if there's something like that!!!

Booting from HD is in all cases faster and also I'll no more have to burn a Live distro to try it.
One other advnatage is saving space: I can have at least 6 live distros on my 8 GB little HD partition!!
3GB for windows/
6*700=4,2GB for Six Live CD distros/
+800MB= Free space
256MB=SWap

Please, I'm new at linux. I ignore a lot thinks, I'm looking for an answer for more than 3 months!!

I have got so many precious answers for some other problems that I'd faced, so please don't let me donwn.

If it is impossible please give an easy explanation

Thank you and I still say that it's crasy!!

Its an interesting proposition, and I know of nothing like it. It might just be possible with a sophisticated boot manager, but someone would have to write such a thing.

There may be questions on what kind of partition you are storing them on, and how practical the idea would work out to be.

Have you tried 'QEMU' ?
