Angry How to add H323 support for my RedHat box?

Hi all,

We've got a RedHat 7.2 box as our NAT device. We can surf internet through
this GateWay server. However, I met some problem when I use MSN voice chat.
For instance, I send an invitation to my buddy, who's using ADSL with an
FORMAL IP address. Then he accept my request and can hear my voice. But I
just can't hear anything.
Some expert claimed that I would have to install H323 modules on the RedHat
box. I browsed www.openh323.org and downloaded their pwlib and openh323
library. I read the ReadMe.txt and followed the procedure to install these
two modules without any trouble. But anthing happened yet, the case goes as
before.
Please give me some suggestion. Any help will be appreciated.

Relax

Hmmm ... are you running MSN on a RH box, too?

If not I'd think that the NAT isn't set-up properly :)
I can't see a good reason why the router/firewall
should know about H323 ...

Cheers,
Tink

Hi,

Sorry for my carelessness! I 'm using MSN voice chat on my PC, instead of RedHat NAT server.
My friend told me that he used to install an H323 module for his RedHat 6.2 NAT server, just by "inmod ip_masq_h323" command.
But perhaps OPENH323 change the method now.
