how much that fc2 fitting partition size?


Hi everyone...
I have a 250GB Hard Drive and I plan to divide 3 partition.
I wanna first partition use to windowsXP(80GB), second partition use to data drive(120GB), third partion use to linux(FC2)(50GB).
But I don't know fitting partition size in linux FC2.

My computer specification is

CPU ; pentium 3.4G
HDD ; 250G
Memory ; 2G


/ ; ???
/boot ; ???
/usr ; ???
/swap ;???
/etc ; ???


please teach me!!!

Your /boot partition should be about 100-150MB
Your /swap partition should be twice the amount of RAM you have (512MB RAM=1GB Swap)
Your / (root) partition should be the rest.

Some people recommend you set up a seperate partition for /usr but I've never seen any benefit by doing this and it just adds another partition. I would recommend it if Linux fragmented like Windows but it doesn't.
