How ifo, vod, and bup files are used by DVD players?
I would like to learn more about how DVDs are played, not the mechanics of it but how vod, ifo, and bup files are used by the DVD player. I have tried googleing with no luck.
Also, I would like to know: can I just burn the vod onto a dvd and expect it to play on a dvd player? How do I go about creating an ifo and bup files for vod files that I already have on my hard drive? Thanx ------- Joel M. |
how hard did you google? http://www.videohelp.com/dvd
no you can't burn vob (not vod) files to dvd... you need to correctly master a dvd. the mastering software would create your ifo's if you don't already have them |
