How I able to write in different language other than english


When I using WindowsXP I have a software by which I can write in some Indian Language but in Linux how can I able to do so.I am using Redhat Enterprise Linux WS Ver-4.Pls help me to write otherthan english language.

You'll have to install the appropriate language packets (i18n) if they are not already installed (probably they are, though). Then you'll need to either switch your language (from KDE Control Center or Gnome's settings) or alter your locale settings so the used keymap is something else than english.
