How do I umask hda1 in knoppix?

I have made a share from knoppix(xp the bigest shit ever) to mandrake 9.2 and I can access knoppix. I can access the harddisk on knoppix but not throw mandrake-samba-knoppix. I can not change the permissions unless I umask. I think! Not shore. SO how do I unmask a mount without rebooting?

please help!
