How do I remove the Source distribution and binary version installation in RedHat 9


I have install Apache server using binary version ,and mysql in Source distribution .I want to remove them ,How do I do them ? I am using Linux Red Hat 9

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org.

By binary, do you mean rpm package? If so, remove with:

rpm -e apache

To remove applications installed from source, go to the folder where you uncompressed the application source and run ./configure && make && make install and type "make uninstall".

What about the binary once ? are they same way like source once ?,But In the installing processes ,The binary once information are on the install file oe readme file has.But they do not have unstalling information.If you can send me the solution for the binary onces ?

This does not work ,but rpm -e is working for rpm ,but I need to remove the binary and source distribution ,I will be very gladful if you help me .make uninstall is not work for Redhat Linux 9
