Unhappy how do I mount a disk??


how do I mount a windows fat32 drive in redhat8.0

I'm pretty sure I have to put an entry in the /etc/fstab file, but I can't remember what I neet to put in there

Help Please anybuddy?

Try this:
mount -t vfat /dev/[device to mount] /mnt/[mountpoint]

The previous post will mount the drive via command line if you want to have it mount on boot or by any user add this to your /etc/fstab file

/dev/device /mnt/mountpoint vfat auto,user,umask=0 0 0
