How do i know what my computer name is?

hi,

How can i find out what my linux machine's name is? I have the internal ip but whats the computer name? Does linux have the equivalent of windows "workgroup"?

The reason i need this is because my new router doesnt have loopback so i cant use ip addresses to do port forwarding. I would have to know the name. According this this guy:

Here

Thanks
