I admit that I should probably know the answer to this but I don't. I'm in the process of trying to add some new kickstart files to the first CD of a 4-CD Red Hat distribution. I recursively copied the contents of the CD to a directory, added the new files, and then created an ISO image using mkisofs like so:
Code:
mkisofs -U -o /tmp/rhel_as401_cd1.iso /tmp/cd1
Then I right-clicked on the CD icon (GNOME desktop) and selected "Write". The resulting CD is not bootable, even though it appears to be identical to the original CD with the exception of the new kickstart files. Are there some "hidden" files I might be missing? Or perhaps an obscure mkisofs option? Do I need to use mkisofs at all?
Thanks in advance for the help.
