how do i add stuff to the K menu

you know in Windows how you can add shortcuts into the Start button? yeah well how do i do that with KDE?

Yep look for applnk directory under kde, it can be found under ~/.kde/share/applnk or system wide /usr/share/applnk it may very from setup to setup so make use of find if the locations are different
