How can you change the default setting for the "Run Command" program?
I found that alt-f2 is a pretty nice utility, but I do not like how it runs Koqueror by default for websites. I dont want to delete Konqueror because it is nice to have a back up browser, but then again I dont want to use it unless i have to. I like Mozilla alot better and just wish I could use alt-f2 with it. Any suggestions please post. Thanks a ton. btw I am using KDE.

Well this won't give you exactly what you want but you can do this:
/opt/firefox/firefox "http://www.foo.com" /opt/mozilla/mozilla "http://www.foo.com" etc. Obviously if you have firefox/mozilla installed in a different location than I, you'll want to modify the path. |
where did you come up with foo.com? lol and in your profile is that address currect?

1. foo, bar, zag, nut, etc. are all generic terms used in examples in the *nix and even M$ sysadmin and development worlds. In the above example, if the site you wanted to go to were www.foxnews.com or www.cnn.com, then you'd substitute foxnews or cnn for "foo"
2. The URL in my signature is real (go to it) but it is not my site. That site amuses me though because it's satire ripping SCO a new one over their WAH/FUD tactic. |
I tried the site but it didn't load

As I mentioned, if you have mozilla installed in a location other than /opt/mozilla/mozilla you need to modify the path to reflect where you have it installed.

I meant the site in your profile
