How can one tell if openGL is installed?


How can one tell if openGL is installed and what version is installed?

I think there is a utility called glxinfo that you can run.

Another way to find out if opengl is installed is by running an OpenGL program

I think you can also poke around your /var/log/Xfree file and see if it's installed/enabled. Not sure on that though.
