How can I use Qemu in Windows?

I downloaded QemuInstaller-0.6.1 for Windows. But how do I boot from an ISO then?

It says N creates new image M sets memory (default 128MB) C set CD/ISO and Q is quit. So I type C and it tells me to drag in the ISO image into the Command Window (I'm using XP by the way) Then I hit enter. It asks if I want to boot from that ISO. I say Y (yes) Then it appears to start the program again. Anybody know what I need to do or get?

BTW, I'm trying to boot either Feather (60MB) or Slax (180MB) I don't think RAM is a problem here, but I'm not sure. I have 256MB in total.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you. The PCQuest article looks like what I need, I'll try it out.
